Manually, by hoist or via transport and transfer systems? <\/li>\n<li>Does the product need to be aligned or moved before recording?<\/li>\n<li>Is it held rigidly or must it remain movable within the device (e.g. rotating, swiveling, tilting)?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Positioning &amp; accessibility<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>What positions must the product occupy within the station?<\/li>\n<li>How many working positions are necessary?<\/li>\n<li>Which areas must be freely accessible?<\/li>\n<li>Is the work done manually, mechanically - or in combination?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Special consideration is given to situations in which:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the worker works under the product,<\/li>\n<li>limited space is available,<\/li>\n<li>or forced postures must be avoided.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Weight, center of gravity &amp; safety<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Product weights up to 1.5 tons are taken into account.<\/li>\n<li>Analysis of center of gravity position, eccentric loads, tilting and twisting torques.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The devices are designed in such a way that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the product is held securely at all times,<\/li>\n<li>tipping and falling risks are excluded by design,<\/li>\n<li>and loads can be removed in a controlled manner.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Stationary or mobile<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Is the station operated at a fixed location or is it moved within production?<\/li>\n<li>For mobile solutions: Requirements for trolleys, locks and stability during operation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Process chain &amp; interfaces<\/h3>\n<p>Devices are always considered in the context of the entire process chain:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>previous process step,<\/li>\n<li>subsequent process step,<\/li>\n<li>Transfers between man, machine and device.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is analyzed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>how many process steps are affected,<\/li>\n<li>how many product items are required,<\/li>\n<li>and whether unnecessary transformer or relocation processes can be avoided.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Avoidance of incorrect operation &amp; errors (Poka Yoke)<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Can the product be inserted incorrectly, twisted or placed in the wrong position?<\/li>\n<li>If yes:\n<ul>\n<li>mechanical exclusion principles,<\/li>\n<li>clear recordings,<\/li>\n<li>form-fit coding (Poka Yoke).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Operating errors are prevented by design, not by organization.<\/p>\n<h3>Product contact &amp; protection<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Which surfaces on the product may be contacted or loaded?<\/li>\n<li>Consideration of:\n<ul>\n<li>sensitive surfaces,<\/li>\n<li>Functional and adhesive surfaces,<\/li>\n<li>later assembly or test points.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The device protects the product and does not impair its function or quality.<\/p>\n<h3>Product variants &amp; frequency of use<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Processing several products or variants at one station<\/li>\n<li>Evaluation of:\n<ul>\n<li>conversion effort,<\/li>\n<li>Ergonomics,<\/li>\n<li>Set-up and dismantling times,<\/li>\n<li>Frequency of use (single unit, small series, continuous operation)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Conscious technical compromises are agreed transparently with the customer.<\/p>\n<h3>Implementation during ongoing operations<\/h3>\n<p>Many fixture projects are implemented during ongoing production operations. Production must not be impaired, or only minimally. We develop solutions that:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>optimize or expand existing stations step by step,<\/li>\n<li>can be introduced parallel to ongoing operations,<\/li>\n<li>and only fully adopted after successful validation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Typical approaches:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>modular extensions,<\/li>\n<li>temporary parallel stations,<\/li>\n<li>successive conversion of individual process steps.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Adaptation of existing stations<\/h3>\n<p>A completely new development is not always necessary. Existing stations are often fundamentally suitable and need to be technically evaluated, specifically adapted or functionally expanded. <\/p>\n<p>We analyze:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>existing weak points,<\/li>\n<li>Potential for improvement in ergonomics and safety,<\/li>\n<li>and implement optimizations where they bring the greatest benefit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Prototypes &amp; verification<\/h3>\n<p>Prototypes of the device are often realized before the start of series production, especially for new products or processes.<\/p>\n<p>These serve this purpose:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>to verify assumptions from the design,<\/li>\n<li>test processes in real life,<\/li>\n<li>evaluate ergonomic and safety-related aspects,<\/li>\n<li>recognize risks at an early stage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The prototype phase can:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>as a functional model,<\/li>\n<li>partially functional device,<\/li>\n<li>or near-series system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Findings are incorporated into the series solution and reduce risks during the start-up phase.<\/p>\n<h3>Testing, verification &amp; acceptance<\/h3>\n<p>Depending on the design and application, an assessment is made together with the customer:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Classification as a load handling attachment<\/li>\n<li>Necessity of:\n<ul>\n<li>Calculation proofs<\/li>\n<li>Overload tests<\/li>\n<li>CE conformity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The type and scope of the inspection and the acceptance process are defined and documented on a project-specific basis.<\/p>\n<h3>Cleanroom - yes or no?<\/h3>\n<p>If a customer produces in or for the cleanroom, further specific questions arise.
