Fixture construction of transport devices, transport trolleys, transport boxes, transport racks & more

Globalization does not stop at highly sensitive components. In order to be able to transport these from the headquarters in Germany to other branches around the world, this transport box was developed, which offers just about everything, including air transport with pressure compensation.

 

It enables the worldwide transportation of highly sensitive components as well as simple on-site replacement (SWAP) without endangering the sensitive technology. The system thus combines: transportation, storage, integration and service (SWAP) in a single modular tool, high cleanliness and precision in accordance with semiconductor standards and mechanical robustness for transport routes on land, in the air and in clean rooms.

• Damping system, tailored to customer requirements
• Shock resistance and vibration damping, reduction of vibrations to < 0.5 g in the sensitive frequency range 5-200 Hz
• Transportation via truck and train up to air transport with pressure compensation possible
• "Breathing system" with purifier, rupture disk and pressure relief valve to compensate for pressure changes during air transportation.
• Leakage rate ≤ 0.022 mbar l/s to ensure tightness and cleanliness even during long-term transportation.
• Relative humidity max. 60 %, temperature range typically 20 ± 2 °C to prevent outgassing and particle formation.
• All components are qualified for cleanrooms up to ISO class 5 (particle concentration < 100 particles/cm³ at > 0.1 µm).

The system was specially developed for the customer. They can attach specific transport attachments to the trolley as in a modular system. This enables them to move/handle products and equipment in their cleanrooms.

 

In addition, transportation between the various production halls is made possible, including infeed and outfeed into the cleanrooms without the need for re-cleaning

 

• • The trolley drives onto the pallet and is wrapped with the first film
  • There are two adhesive edges on the pallet (like a Velcro fastener) to which the first film is glued.
  • The packaging is then wrapped in the second film
  • The trolley can then be transported outside the cleanroom (in this case by truck) between the halls
  • During the infeed process, one film per airlock is removed and the product or production material on the trolley is transported to where it is needed in the cleanroom without having to be cleaned again
  • Nothing stands in the way of the variety of attachments
    • Compliance with a specific "footprint", both in terms of surface area and height
    • Dimensioning of any required damper system to the required weights and shocks to be absorbed
    • One variant is the little sister of the large transport box in the example above (same requirements, but much smaller product)

The example shows a special transport and lifting crane with gantry and rollers for various handling tasks in cleanroom applications with heavy components.
